A Note on HIPAA

Harmony Health Advocacy is aware of and committed to the principles of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). However, please note that this website itself, including its forms and standard email, is not a HIPAA-compliant communication channel. Real HIPAA compliance requires secure transport, appropriate data storage, and Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with any vendor that handles Protected Health Information. We strongly recommend that sensitive health information be shared only via secure phone calls or in-person consultations.

We recommend that the practice owner confirm form, hosting, and analytics arrangements with a qualified compliance advisor to ensure full HIPAA compliance.
